Originally from Connecticut, Christopher Brown was unofficially declared an “adopted native” of Newport after graduating from Salve Regina University and spending years behind the bar at many of the City by the Sea’s legendary establishments.
Upon his recent retirement from the Providence Fire Department, Chris decided he wanted to continue to help people—this time, in real estate. With more than 25 years as a public servant, Chris continues to hold those who serve, be they members of the military, police officers or firefighters, in the highest regard, and he looks forward to working diligently with and for these servants, and all of those who are eager to call Newport and its surrounding area home.
Having lived in all three communities on Aquidneck Island, Chris is well-versed in the nuances that make each locale unique. An avid sailor, he spends his summers racing aboard the classic America’s Cup 12-meter, American Eagle. Both on the water and by helping people find the perfect home, Chris has found his ties and commitment to the people of this area grow even deeper.
