It was built between 1739 and 1735 and has undergone incredible restoration by its owners. Preserve Rhode Island gave the property the 2002 Preservation Merit Award for the Residential Restoration/Rehabilitation that was accomplished by the previous owners, their architect and the general contractor. It is located on the waterfront and had magnificent gardens, a wonderful storage shed, and even an outhouse!! There are 2 staircases, a wonderful gourmet kitchen with room for a large dining table. There is also a charming sitting room off the kitchen which is an ideal spot for a glass of wine or after-dinner coffee. On the second floor is an en-suite primary bedroom, dressing room, and bath as well as 2 other bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a door to a deck which has lovely water views.
